Job description

Our client is a multinational business that designs and supplies multi-component soft goods, accessories, and consumer lifestyle products for global brand partners. Quality is central to how the organization wins and retains those relationships, and this role sits at the heart of that discipline.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to reinforce day-to-day QA practice, keep the quality management system current, and work across Product Development, Purchasing, Operations, and QC. The remit covers upstream risk reduction, supplier performance and CAPA follow-through, factory visits, and support on customer complaint investigations. It will suit a hands-on QA/QC professional who is comfortable in a multi-component product setting and ready for regular travel to manufacturing sites.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Carry the daily QA workload and stay closely aligned with internal counterparts across regions.
  • Own upkeep of the quality manual and related controlled documents, refreshing them as processes improve.
  • Contribute to monthly quality packs and surface the main findings and drive agreed follow-up to completion.
  • Bring quality criteria into the development cycle early so Product Development, Purchasing and Operations can design risk out rather than inspect it out later.
  • Help Product Development and Purchasing assemble clear product-tolerance packs that match the company's quality standard.
  • Take part in pre-production meetings and sample reviews; flag residual risk and confirm that quality expectations are locked before launch.
  • Brief the QC team on critical inspection gates and any extra checks that a given programme needs.
  • Work alongside QC to monitor defect trends, isolate recurring failures, and lead root-cause work plus corrective action with suppliers.
  • Join factory audits and on-site visits that test whether suppliers meet the company's compliance bar.
  • Act as the quality contact for suppliers on non-conformances and audit findings, and press for timely CAPA closure.
  • Help keep the internal supplier-monitoring framework current and push for practical upgrades over time.
  • Support investigation of customer quality complaints: root-cause analysis, corrective-action plans, and tracking to closure with the relevant stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
  • Higher Diploma or above in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of QA and/or QC exposure in a multi-component product environment - soft goods, accessories or consumer products.
  • Working knowledge of QA methods, risk assessment, manufacturing flows, product tolerances and factory inspection standards.
  • Meticulous, forward-leaning and analytically sharp, with solid problem-solving habits and a continuous-improvement instinct.
  • Strong spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to manufacturing sites.
What to Expect:

Our client offers the benefits of a work environment that is stimulating, challenging and balanced. It makes sure that you will be working in highly visible and being part of an Employee & Supply Chain work that provides a large degree of autonomy to their management team and encourages creativity and development of new ideas.
