Smith seeks an experienced Commodity Manager to lead global sourcing of memory, HDDs, SSDs and related components. You will build strong relationships with OEMs, hyperscalers and suppliers, align supply with sales and customer needs, and identify high-value opportunities in the global market.

The role offers uncapped monthly commissions and a Prime CBD office. Based in Hong Kong, you will drive sourcing strategies across regions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help Smith maintain

Qualificações

• 10+ years hands-on experience in sourcing, supply chain, or sales of memory, HDDs, SSDs, GPUs, NICs, and switches; prior OEM experience is an advantage.
• Well-established industry network across OEMs, data centers, hyperscalers, and server manufacturers.
• Proven negotiation and deal-closing skills with a track record of managing transactions of varying complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Discover opportunities and manage commodities including memory, HDDs, SSDs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, hyperscalers, and key supply partners for sourcing.
• Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to align supply with business needs and customer requirements.
• Identify and engage new customers to expand market reach and drive demand for commodity products.
• Monitor global market trends, pricing and supply chain dynamics to uncover opportunities and support strategic decisions.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and adapt supply strategies to market conditions.
