Smith & Associates Far East Ltd. in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Commodity Manager to lead global sourcing of memory, HDDs, SSDs and related components.

You will bridge sales and purchasing to identify high-value opportunities and optimize profitability in a dynamic market. You will develop OEM and hyperscaler relationships, monitor market trends, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with internal teams to align supply with demand.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in sourcing or sales of memory, HDDs, SSDs, GPUs, NICs, and switches.
• Strong network across OEMs, data centers, hyperscalers and server manufacturers.
• Proven ability to identify and close high-value commodity opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Discover opportunities and manage sourcing of memory, HDDs, SSDs and related components.
• Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, hyperscalers and key supply partners.
• Collaborate with internal purchasing and sales teams to align supply with business needs and customer requirements.
• Identify new customers to expand market reach and drive demand for commodity products.
