Job summary

Amazon Web Services Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Solutions Architect to engage with customers across multiple industries and design reliable, cost-efficient cloud-native architectures on AWS. You will partner with multiple AWS teams to address business problems and accelerate cloud adoption, speaking to CTOs, engineers and Directors.

The role requires broad technical competency across infrastructure, security, DevOps, databases, data analytics, AI/ML, GenAI and related areas, plus strong

Qualifications

• 4+ years in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or analytics.
• 4+ years designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructure.
• 7+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• In partnership with the Business Development team on daily basis, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS
• As a key member of the solutions architecture team, ensure success in building, migrating and modernizing applications, software and services on the AWS platform
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
• Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS (i.e Dev Days or Immersion Days)
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS Solutions Architect community
• Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, Service Teams and Support
