Job summary

Amazon Web Services Hong Kong is hiring a Solutions Architect to work with customers across industries, designing cloud-native architectures, migrating and modernizing applications, and driving AWS adoption with business value.

The role spans strategic thinking and technical depth across infrastructure, security, DevOps, AI/ML, and data analytics, with frequent interaction with developers, engineers, directors, and CXOs to deliver cost-efficient, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technology domain experience (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries

Responsibilities

• In partnership with the Business Development team on daily basis, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS
• As a key member of the solutions architecture team, ensure success in building, migrating and modernizing applications, software and services on the AWS platform
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
• Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS (i.e Dev Days or Immersion Days)
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS Solutions Architect community
• Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, Service Teams and Support
