Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) seeks a senior leader to design and execute comprehensive business development and relationship management strategies for major international asset managers and quantitative investment institutions. You will leverage industry networks to secure mandates and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver bespoke financial solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in institutional banking or markets, ED/MD-level leadership, and a proven track record in cross-border

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 8+ years of institutional banking or markets experience in foreign banks, international investment banks, or top global asset managers.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership at ED/MD level.
• Demonstrated success in directly covering large-scale asset managers and global institutions.
• Experience in securities investment or financial markets sales is highly preferred.
• Deep understanding of financial market regulations and cross-border trading in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute business development and relationship management strategies for major international asset management and quantitative investment institutions.
• Build high-converting client acquisition channels and secure mandates from key target segments.
• Coordinate resources across product development, risk management, and middle-to-back offices to design bespoke financial solutions.
• Market cross-border investment and financing, global custody, treasury transactions, and structured products.
• Lead and upskill a high-performing team to establish market leadership and drive revenue growth.
