Job summary

TEKsystems partners with a leading global retail organization to hire an AI Application Developer in Hong Kong. The role focuses on designing, building, and deploying AI-powered applications that enhance operations, customer experience, and productivity across markets.

You will work with Generative AI, LLMs, and machine learning to deliver enterprise-scale solutions, APIs, and integrations while ensuring security and governance standards across platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience, with exposure to AI/ML projects.
• Hands-on experience with Python and modern backend development frameworks.
• Knowledge of AI frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and services.
• Build and integrate solutions leveraging LLMs, Generative AI, and machine learning technologies.
• Develop APIs and backend services to support AI-driven business applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Optimize AI application performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI workflow orchestration.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and responsible AI standards.
• Contribute to architecture design, code reviews, and best practices.
