Job summary

Leading Bank in Hong Kong seeks a General Manager for Trustee Business to lead development and expansion of Trustee Services within Retail Banking. The role oversees corporate strategy, client segmentation and business planning while driving growth in trustee operations and product development.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• 10–12 years’ experience in Trustee Business Development and Operations for high net worth customers in Banking.
• Experience in Private Trust, Charitable Trust and Pension Funds is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken Chinese and English including Cantonese and Putonghua.

Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for the development and enhancement of Trustee Business and Trustee Services under Retail Banking Section for the Banking Group.

• Oversee Corporate Strategy Planning, manage and develop Client Segmentation, Business Planning and Strategic Planning for the dynamic business growth of coverage in Trustee Business
• Lead and manage Trustee Business Growth, Client Servicing, Marketing, Investment Analysis, Product
• Development functions
• Develop new Strategic Features and Insights on asset management and wealth succession solutions
• Formulate and set up the departmental structure and relevant business enlargement in market share
• Plan / Formulate / Implement strategies and initiatives to drive the growth of Business and Products coverage
• Liaise with various business units to enhance effectiveness of marketing programs and develop marketing solutions for enlarging customer base and profitability
• Lead and manage estate planning suggestions and investment advisory services to high-net worth customers
• Lead and manage general trust and structuring advisory services to new and existing clients
• Lead a trust marketing team in achieving pres-set sales targets and objectives
• Establish and manage Private Trust, Charitable Trust and Pension Funds

Job Requirements

• University Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting
• 10 – 12 years’ experience in Trustee Business Development and Business Operation to high net worth
• customers in Banking / Trustee Sector is a MUST
• Proven experience in Private Trust Business, Trust Marketing and Services, Customer Relationship and
• Business Development to high net worth customers
• Strong Experience in the Business Management of Private Trust, Charitable Trust and Pension Funds
• Self-initiative, independent with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to exercise judgment, work under pressure and liaise effectively with the business and supporting units
• Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English including Cantonese and Putonghua
