Job summary

HuaAn Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an Operations Officer to manage trade matching, settlement, and daily valuation tasks for managed funds and accounts in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2 years of asset management operations experience, plus strong English, Cantonese and Mandarin communication. Proficiency in EZE TRADAR, Bloomberg and VBA is advantageous; immediate availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business or related disciplines.
• 2 years working experience in asset management in operations roles.
• Experience in money market funds, SFC authorized funds, unit trusts and ETFs preferred.
• Good command of English, Cantonese & Mandarin.
• Experience with EZE TRADAR and Bloomberg is a plus.
• Proficient in VBA.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform trade matching and arrange trade settlement for managed funds/accounts.
• Coordinate trade instructions with custodians.
• Prepare and review daily valuation reports and follow up on reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to resolve daily operation issues.
• Perform account opening, client KYC and AML processes.
• Assist in drafting financial statements, annual audits of funds and regulatory filings.
• Comply with internal workflows, procedures and SFC regulatory requirements.
• Support business development on new funds launches and product development.
• Assist investment team in preparing research reports and ad hoc reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
