Job summary

China CITIC Bank International Limited is seeking a software test professional to design, implement, and maintain scalable test solutions across web and mobile applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery, develop test plans, and perform production verification during rollout and post-implementation support.

Qualifications

Job description

Develop application programs to address business needs when required, provide technical support in the development and maintenance of application software and products.

Participate in project delivery for PBG Squads to ensure quality of the project deliverables are up to the Bank’s standard.

Liaise with project teams and stakeholders on system impact analysis and functional design, define overall test plan and preparation work, execute testing and verification tasks, participate in production launch preparation and post implementation activities.

Build up an effective and efficient testing framework across applications and infrastructure, and provide guidance and assistance on all test activities for all related application and infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, test and maintain scalable software solutions to transform/enhance/optimize customer-facing features and/or internal business workflows and processes

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand product visions and requirements, and implement them using technologies

Proactively design workable solutions to fulfil the needs of the stakeholders. Ensure the system to work behind the scenes, integrating the application with all required systems and services, and deliver the solutions according to the schedule with high quality

Identify technical/architectural constraints and limitations for providing a holistic view for business/process/technical decision makers to achieve the best possible solution

Ensure development work follows the Bank’s and departmental standards and guidelines

Support solution roll-out and perform post-launch support

Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.

Participate in test planning, test case and data preparation, test execution, progress update, test documentation and reporting.

Work with applications and systems owners to identify issues during development and testing phases in order to remove blockers and ensure efficient delivery.

Manage the testing progress according to project delivery and software development schedule.

Support in production issues analysis and resolutions.

Participate in production launch preparation and post implementation activities. Perform production verification and other adhoc work assigned.

Ensure the work follow department standards and guidelines.

Requirements:

Preferably degree holder in Information Technology or related disciplines

Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and engineering principles like SOLID

Experience in managing complex asynchronous operations, such as concurrent RESTful API integration

Solid experience in writing and utilising autonomous services oriented RESTful API services and performance tuning large scale apps

Competence in database systems, with knowledge of SQL and NoSQL stores (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Kafka, Couchbase, etc)

Good knowledge in HTML5 web accessibility and mobile responsive technologies

Ability to write effective unit, integration, and API tests

Understanding on mobile application security controls

Solid experience in creating test plan, designing test cases, and executing manual testing and requirement verifications on Web and Mobile applications and platforms according to user requirements in various format, such as URS, FRS, User Stories and acceptance criteria, etc… within fast-paced sprint cycles.

Experience in exploratory and creative testing is preferred.

Experience in preparing test related documentation, including test reports, requirement traceability matrix report, progress update report, as well as testing signoff documents.

Preferable with experience in managing multiple and complex testing scenarios and environments involving multiple critical banking applications.

Experience in technical testing, such as API testing, Database verifications, load testing and performance testing, is an advantage.

Knowledge in testing tools such as Postman, Selenium, Appium, Database and SQL utilities, scripting, command line writing and execution, is an advantage.
