Job summary

Your new company is a well-funded AI start-up expanding rapidly in Hong Kong. We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to build and enhance web applications supporting both customer-facing AI products and internal business solutions.

You'll design, develop, and maintain features, collaborate with the Data Team and stakeholders, integrate with AI models and data platforms, and focus on performance, security, and reliability in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Experience with React, Next.js, Vue.js or similar front-end frameworks.
• Backend experience with Node.js or Python.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• CI/CD and container tech like Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiar with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot is a plus.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin).
• Based in Hong Kong with valid working rights.

• Integrate applications with AI models, data platforms, and third-party services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while supporting ongoing product improvements.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue.js, or similar technologies.
• Hands-on backend development experience using Node.js or Python.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, SQL, and/or NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes would be advantageous.
• Experience leveraging AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar technologies to improve development productivity and code quality is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Proficient in both Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) and English communication.
• Currently based in Hong Kong with valid working rights.
