Job summary

ConnectedGroup is seeking a (Senior) Footwear Merchandiser to support product development and sourcing across Asia. You will manage development projects from sample to production, coordinating with overseas teams, vendors and factories to meet timelines and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in footwear-related fields, has experience in merchandising or sourcing, and communicates effectively in English in an fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree holder in Footwear, Textile, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related disciplines.
• Experience in footwear merchandising, sourcing, product development or manufacturing.
• Good understanding of product development, material sourcing and manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication and project coordination skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and international business environment.
• Good command of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Manage footwear development projects from sample stage through production.
• Coordinate with overseas product creation, development and sourcing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Follow up on samples, costing, materials, construction and technical requirements.
• Work closely with suppliers and factories to ensure development timelines and quality standards are achieved.
• Support vendor communication, sourcing activities and supplier performance management.
• Monitor production progress and proactively resolve development or manufacturing issues.

About the Role

We are currently looking for Footwear Merchandising professionals across Junior Merchandiser, Merchandiser and Senior Merchandiser levels to support product development and sourcing activities across Asia.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with international teams, footwear manufacturers and development partners, contributing to the creation of high-performance products from concept through commercialization.

Key Responsibilities
