Job summary

Jane Street is seeking a FIX Onboarding and Connectivity Engineer to grow trading capabilities and client onboarding. You will bridge clients, trading teams, and technology, coordinating with developers, infrastructure engineers, and external parties to deliver production-ready connectivity systems.

You will be exposed to fast-moving trading workflows, learn the microstructure of exchanges, and contribute to software that underpins both proprietary and client-facing desks.

Qualifications

• Interest in learning about the microstructure of different exchanges and trading systems.
• Proficient with coding; software engineering experience (building apps) highly valued.
• Excellent coordinator and project management skills across multiple stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with clear written and verbal communication.
• Able to learn new, complicated and , ever-changing systems.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and build connectivity across proprietary and client-facing trading.
• Prioritize requests from trading desks; collaborate with developers, infrastructure engineers, and external parties; deliver to production.
• Bridge the gap between clients, trading teams, and technology teams; promote collaboration and best practices.
• Navigate the Unix command line and develop code of varying complexity to deliver projects.
