Job summary

IO TECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED seeks a Senior Java Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-performance enterprise software. You will collaborate with product and operations in an Agile/DevOps environment to ensure timely delivery and proactive monitoring of new features.

You will architect scalable solutions, partner with product teams, and drive deployment and monitoring of releases in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building enterprise-grade Java services.
• At least 5+ years applying the Spring Framework in production.
• Solid experience with message queues and event-driven systems (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or Kafka).
• Extensive RESTful service design and OpenAPI/Swagger proficiency.
• Hands-on with microservices architectures and deployment.
• Knowledge of FIX protocol in a trading/financial domain.
• Strong automated testing practices in Agile environments.
• SDLC best practices with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, Docker, Nexus, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with enterprise design patterns and EIP.

Role Overview

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain high-performance software systems aligned with enterprise standards. You will collaborate closely with product and operations teams in a fast-paced Agile and DevOps environment, ensuring the seamless delivery and proactive monitoring of new software features.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Development: Architect and develop robust, scalable software solutions according to client standards and architectural guidelines.
• Product Collaboration: Partner closely with the product team to design, refine, and deliver impactful new features.
• DevOps & Deployment: Work within an Agile framework to deploy new software releases seamlessly, adhering strictly torelease processes.
• System Monitoring: Assist in monitoring production systems to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Critical Technical Skills

• Java & Spring Expertise: 7+ years of experience building enterprise-grade Java services, with at least 5+ years dedicated to the Spring Framework.
• Event-Driven Architecture: Solid experience implementing message queues and event-driven systems, specifically using ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• API Development: Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful services, with strong proficiency in OpenAPI and Swagger.
• Microservices: Proven hands-on experience designing and deploying microservices architectures.
• Domain Knowledge: Practical knowledge or direct experience working with the FIX protocol.
• Agile Testing: Deep understanding of automated testing best practices within an Agile development lifecycle.
• CI/CD & DevOps: Strong grasp of SDLC best practices using Git, Jenkins, Continuous Integration, Docker, Nexus, and Kubernetes.
• Design Frameworks: Advanced knowledge of software design patterns and enterprise integration patterns (EIP).
