Job summary

Hong Kong Red Cross invites applications for a position supporting the First Aid Service (FAS) development and FARU operations. The role includes volunteer development, training coordination, and ensuring high-quality prehospital care delivery.

The successful candidate will assist the Deputy Manager (FAS) in planning, event support, and emergencies, with duties including drills, stakeholder coordination, and rotating duty during holidays or after-hours as needed.

Qualifications

• University degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 2 years experience in humanitarian or social service sector.
• First Aid Trainer certification preferred; valid first aid certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Deputy Manager (FAS) in developing and executing prehospital and emergency care plans.
• Act as operation in-charge for events/local emergencies as per agency emergency response mechanism.
• Ensure quality service delivery by FARU and volunteers; manage and train volunteers.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for projects and operations.
• Perform emergency first aid operations and provide standby duties as needed.
