Job summary

Oxford Asset Management Limited, a premier property investment group headquartered in Hong Kong, seeks a Financial Controller to lead the finance and accounting function across HK, PRC and overseas markets. You will oversee reporting, budgeting, audits, and treasury while driving process improvements and internal controls.

The role requires 20+ years in accounting with at least 10 years in senior management, CPA membership, and strong leadership; experience in property management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• MBA or Master degree in finance or business area.
• HKICPA membership or equivalent qualification.
• 20+ years of accounting experience with at least 10 years in senior management; Big 4 preferred.
• Experience in property management, property investment, or leasing preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including complex financial modelling), Word, and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with FlexSystem (FION / FIONA) is a strong advantage.
• Strong leadership and team spirit; self-driven and motivated.
• Excellent communication in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full sets of accounts and timely financial reporting, tax compliance, and month-end closings across all entities.
• Monitor and evaluate financial performance of multi-building property management operations across regions.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles; manage ad hoc analyses.
• Participate in ad hoc investment projects analysis and implementation.
• Coordinate statutory audits, banking and treasury matters.
• Supervise, mentor, and review the accounting team to drive operational excellence.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, financial institutions, and stakeholders across regions.
• Initiate and lead Business Process Reengineering and Internal Control Improvement projects.

Job description

To support our ongoing expansion and portfolio optimization, we are seeking a Financial Controller to lead our finance and accounting function.

Major Roles - to lead the team to continuously perform the tasks in below areas

• Financial Planning, Analysis (FP&A)
• Banking, Treasury & Capital Management
• Corporate Restructuring & Entity Management
• Business Process Reengineering (BPR) & Systems Optimization
• Financial Reporting, Audit & Compliance and Corporate Governance

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee full sets of accounts and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting, tax compliance, and month-end closings across all business entities.
• Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of multi-building property management operations, identifying efficiency improvements and strategic insights for Hong Kong, PRC & Overseas Regions.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles, while managing complex ad-hoc financial analyses to support executive decision-making.
• Participate in ad hoc investment projects analysis and implementation as assigned.
• Coordinate statutory audits, banking and treasury matters
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of the accounting team to drive operational excellence.
• Liaise directly with external auditors, tax consultants, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Overseas Regions.
• Initiate and lead various projects of Business Process Reengineering and Internal Control Improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• MBA or Master Degree in other finance or business areas
• HKICPA member or equivalent qualification with a recognized professional accounting body.
• 20 or more years of solid accounting experience, with at least 10 years in senior managerial level. Experiences with Big 4 is highly preferred.
• Proven background in property management, property investment, or the leasing industry is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including complex financial modelling), Word, and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with FlexSystem (FION / FIONA) is a strong advantage.
