Rectrix Group Limited in Hong Kong seeks a senior executive to serve as Section Head - Finance at corporate level. The role oversees the finance function with a hybrid/dual-responsibility setup, leaning 60-70% accounting/reporting, 30% FP&A, and 10-15% business partnering.

The position requires 12+ years in finance with leadership experience, HKFRS expertise, and strong English/Chinese communications. A permanent role with a highly attractive salary and market-leading benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related disciplines.
• Professional qualification with ACCA / HKICPA, CFA or equivalent.
• 12+ years in finance with at least 5 years in supervisory role; Big 4 and real estate/hospitality experience preferred.
• Expertise in financial reporting, performance management and budgeting.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills.
• Experience in a matrix organisation and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent Excel and consolidation skills with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in written/spoken English and Chinese.
• Less experienced candidates will be considered as Senior Manager.

Responsabilités

• Oversee accounting & control duties including HKFRS reporting and month-end close.
• Manage external auditors and tax computations.
• Uphold internal controls, governance standards and process efficiency.
• Hands-on SAP and ledger systems administration.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and annual operating plan development.

A renowned corporation originated in Hong Kong with a vibrant working culture. They are looking for a senior executive as a Section Head - Finance at corporate level to oversee the finance function within the group based in Hong Kong.

This role will act as a Team Leader with a Hybrid / Dual-Responsibility Role, but it leans slightly heavier towards Accounting & Financial Reporting, Governance (60-70% Accounting / 30% FP&A & 10% of Business Partnering with different key business units).

Breakdown of Responsibilities

• Accounting & Control Duties (60-70% of the Role)
  • HKFRS Compliance & Financial Statements: Month-end close and financial reporting under Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Audit & Tax Management: Managing external auditors and tax computations.
  • Internal Controls & Governance: Upholding governance standards and financial process efficiency.
  • ERP & Systems: Hands-on experience with SAP and ledger systems.
• FP&A & Strategic Duties (30% of the Role)
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Leading the annual operating plan (AOP) and rolling forecasts.
  • Variance Analysis: Monitoring actual performance vs. budget and recommending operational improvements.
• Business Partnering & Analysis (10-15% of the Role) Acting as a finance partner to property, facility management, cleaning, security, and maintenance teams to drive cost efficiency. Business Partnering makes up the remaining 10% to 15% of the role, constantly collaborating with different business units at matrix working environment.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related disciplines
• Professional qualification with ACCA / HKICPA, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent
• Minimum 12 years solid experiences in finance with at least 5 years’ at supervisory level, preferably previous experiences gained in Big 4 and real estate, hospitality or property management industry
• Expertise in financial reporting, performance management and budgeting
• Mature, fast-pace, strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a matrix organisation and be double down
• Excellent skills in Excel and consolidation with ERP system
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Less experienced candidate will be considered as Senior Manager
