Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong seeks a Finance Transformation leader to drive end-to-end initiatives, including process redesign, automation and system enhancements. You will partner with Finance teams and stakeholders across Actuarial, Operations and IT to streamline processes and drive efficiency.

With 6+ years in Finance Transformation or FP&A, you will guide projects from business case through implementation, coach teams on new processes, and help strengthen financial reporting and controls.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Finance Transformation, Financial Reporting, Finance Operations, FP&A or related Finance roles.
• Life insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes, operating models, controls and financial reporting.
• Experience in Finance transformation, process improvement or system implementation projects.
• Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, SQL and Python is an advantage.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively across Finance, Actuarial, Operations and IT.
• Knowledge of IFRS 17 / IFRS 9 is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Finance transformation initiatives, including process redesign, automation and Finance system enhancements.
• Partner with Finance teams and key stakeholders across Actuarial, Operations and IT to streamline processes and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Leverage strong understanding of Finance BAU processes to identify pain points, control gaps and opportunities for automation or simplification.
• Assess proposed initiatives from a Finance, process, data, control and implementation perspective.
• Manage transformation projects from business case development through implementation, testing and change adoption.
• Act as the key Finance representative in system and automation initiatives, translating Finance requirements into practical solutions.
• Support continuous improvement across financial reporting, reconciliation, planning and other Finance processes.
• Coach and upskill Finance teams on new processes, tools and ways of working.
