Job summary

The Hong Kong and China Gas Co Ltd is seeking a Financial Accounting Leader to provide oversight of financial accounting and compliance with HKFRS. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of accounting experience, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.

The role includes direct engagement with stakeholders, managing statutory reporting, and driving digital transformation initiatives within the financial operations.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Experience with a Big Four accounting firm is an advantage.
• Strong judgment and execution capability in managing priorities.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of financial accounting functions.
• Oversee compliance with statutory requirements and governance standards.
• Direct the review of statutory reporting materials.
• Lead engagement with external stakeholders on compliance matters.
