Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager

The Finance Manager will serve as a key member of the Finance leadership team. This role is responsible for managing and executing all aspects of commercial bank loan financing and refinancing, including monitoring loan covenants and ensuring ongoing compliance with repayment and cashflow requirements. The incumbent will directly lead day-to-day interactions with commercial banks, coordinate the submission of required reports and certifications, responsible for cashflow management. The role will work closely with the senior leadership while leading detailed financial workstreams and mentoring junior team members.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

Lead and manage all bank loan financing and refinancing activities with commercial banks.

Monitor loan covenants, repayment schedules, interest payments, and liquidity/cashflow requirements.

Serve as the primary liaison for day-to-day discussions and negotiations with commercial banks.

Coordinate preparation and submission of required documentation to banks, including financial reports, compliance certificates, and property valuations.

Provide oversight, coaching, and support to junior team members working on bank financing and cashflow management.

Ensure compliance with relevant financial, legal, and regulatory standards.

PERSON REQUIREMENT:

Field of Study: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.

Years of Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in corporate finance, banking, or related financial management roles.

Area of Experience:

Proven track record in loan financing/refinancing, corporate treasury, and/or debt capital markets.

Prior experience in the hospitality, real estate, or service-related industries will be an advantage.

Other Professional Qualifications / Technical Skills / Knowledge required:

Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, ACA, or equivalent strongly preferred.

Strong technical knowledge of debt financing structures, loan documentation, and covenant monitoring.

Solid understanding of financial modeling.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools; familiarity with treasury systems is a plus.

Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.

Ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua (written and spoken) is required.
