Ambition is seeking a Senior Finance Manager in Hong Kong to oversee finance, regulatory reporting and corporate governance across the group. The role offers broad exposure to senior stakeholders, regulators, and business leadership.

You will lead budgeting, cash flow management, audits, and compliance coordination, while guiding the finance team and supporting strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree holder with CPA qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience within financial services with audit background.

Responsibilities

• Lead group financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, and forecasting activities.
• Oversee daily accounting operations including preparation of FRR returns and provide guidance to the finance team.
• Coordinate annual audits and regulatory filings for SFC licensed entities.
• Maintain relationships with external auditors, bankers, regulators, and advisors.
• Support corporate secretarial matters, including board minutes and statutory filings.
• Work with compliance providers to ensure SFC regulatory requirements are met.
• Review onboarding documentation, account opening procedures, and KYC processes.
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Due to continued business growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Finance Manager to oversee finance, regulatory reporting, compliance coordination, and corporate governance functions across the group.

About the Role

The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing finance, regulatory reporting, compliance coordination, and corporate governance functions across the group.

Responsibilities

• Lead group financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, and forecasting activities
• Oversee daily accounting operations including preparation of FRR returns and provide guidance to the finance team
• Manage fee collection processes, payments, and treasury-related activities
• Coordinate annual audits and regulatory filings for SFC licensed entities
• Maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including auditors, bankers, regulators, and professional advisors
• Support corporate secretarial matters, including preparation of board minutes, annual returns, and statutory filings
• Work closely with external compliance providers to ensure adherence to SFC regulatory requirements
• Review client onboarding documentation, account opening procedures, and KYC processes
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree holder with CPA qualification
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience within financial services with audit background

Required Skills

• Strong background in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Familiarity with SFC regulatory requirements and licensed corporation environments is highly preferred
