Job summary

Eunique Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for a client in Hong Kong who will oversee full accounting, regulatory reporting under the SFC FRR, and client asset compliance. The role requires strong Mandarin, independence, and hands-on financial analysis, budgeting, and liaison with auditors and regulators.

You will help manage audits and regulatory inquiries while supporting daily operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines OR CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience in SFC-licensed firms with Type 1,4,9.
• Strong familiarity with FRR and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Highly independent, hands-on, able to work autonomously.
• Proficient in Mandarin is a MUST.

Our client is a Licensed Corporation for Types 1, 4, and 9 regulated activities since 2017. They provide comprehensive financial services including fund management and securities dealing. To support their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full spectrum of financial and regulatory reporting adherence to the Securities and Futures (Financial Resources) Rules (FRR). Ensure the liquid capital level fulfills the SFC requirements.
• Handle day-to-day accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Monitor and reconcile client accounts to ensure strict compliance with SFC client money rules.
• Coordinate annual audits and act as a key liaison for SFC inspections, regulatory inquiries, and external auditors.
• Assist with office administration and general operational workflows.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines OR CPA is preferred. It is not mandatory for candidates with strong relevant industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years of solid accounting and finance experience gained within SFC-licensed corporations with Type 1,4,9 and able to hold client asset.
• Strong, hands-on familiarity with SFC financial resources rules (FRR) and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Highly independent, hands-on, and capable of working autonomously.
• Proficient in Mandarin is a MUST.
