Job summary

ES Corporate Functions seeks a Finance Manager to join the Group finance team in Hong Kong. You will oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation, producing accurate schedules and group reporting packages, and coordinate interim and annual results across group entities.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with HKICPA/ACCA membership, and at least 5 years’ consolidation experience, under IFRS, with strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have strong IFRS knowledge and experience with financial consolidations.
• Experience coordinating group reporting packages and results announcements.
• Excellent command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken.

Our client is a sizable corporation listed overseas with a small office in Hong Kong, they are looking for a Finance Manager to join their Group finance team.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation processes while producing accurate accounting schedules and group reporting packages
• Coordinate the preparation of interim and annual results announcements across group entities
• Develop financial budgets, operational performance analyses, and consolidated forecasts to support business decision‑making
• Act as the key contact point for external auditors, banking partners, and internal group entities during audit and operational reviews
• Oversaw tax filing procedures and ensure compliance with relevant statutory regulations
• Execute ad‑hoc financial projects and analysis as required by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional qualification as a member of HKICPA, ACCA, or an equivalent accounting body
• Minimum 5 years of financial consolidation experience, preferably gained within listed groups or product‑based commercial firms; Listed co experience in HK/ US/ JP/ SG/ EU are open
• Strong technical expertise in manual multi‑subsidiary consolidations and comprehensive knowledge of IFRS
• Solid grasp of month‑end closing cycles and internal control frameworks
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese
