Hermeneutic Investments Ltd. in Hong Kong seeks a Finance Manager to lead financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and planning. You will report to the Head of Finance and collaborate with teams across departments to support the firm's financial health.

You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, month-end close, NAV review coordination with the fund administrator, and investor materials in English and Chinese. CPA/CA and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years progressive experience in Finance Manager role within buy-side or crypto financial services is a strong plus.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA/CA designation required.
• Solid bookkeeping foundation with GL, month-end close, reconciliations; Xero or QuickBooks is a plus.
• Experience working with fund administrators (NAV review, investor activity).
• Audit experience and/or managing external audits is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and detail orientation with problem-solving ability.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) both written and spoken for investor materials.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel; Python familiarity is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, month-end close, and account reconciliations to maintain accurate books.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts in line with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with fund administrator for NAV reviews and reconcile against internal records.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
• Assist in automating reporting processes and enhancing financial systems.
