Job summary

hermeneutic research is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee daily bookkeeping, month-end close, and financial reporting. You will coordinate with the fund administrator on NAV reviews, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive improvements in financial controls.

The role requires a CA/CPA or equivalent, a Finance degree, and 5–8 years of progressive experience in buy-side or crypto-related finance services. Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of progressive experience as a Finance Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA/CA required.
• Solid bookkeeping, general ledger, month-end close, and reconciliations.
• Experience with fund administrators and external audits is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, month-end close, and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts with regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with fund administrator on NAV review and investor activity.
• Develop and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk and improve processes.
