Job summary

ICBC International Holdings Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage daily accounting operations related to securities and futures trading. You will ensure accurate reconciliation of bank accounts, client ledgers, CCASS clearing accounts, and broker statements, and support regulatory reporting requirements.

The role requires 3+ years' SFC-licensed experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and fluency in Mandarin/Chinese and English.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience in SFC-licensed corporation.
• Broad knowledge of brokerage / futures experience; Proficiency in brokerage back-office settlement and accounting systems.
• Familiar with HKSFC Financial Resources Rules reporting requirements is a plus.
• Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong logical and analytical mind.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Fluent in spoken Putonghua and written Chinese and English.
• Immediately available is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations for securities and futures trading activities;
• Reconcile bank accounts, client ledgers, CCASS clearing accounts and broker statements, etc;
• Prepare daily FRR liquid capital calculations and monthly financial returns; Monitor liquid capital levels continuously to prevent any regulatory breaches;
• Handle ad-hoc requests and annual audit.
