Job summary

Chiho Environmental Group Limited, a leading Hong Kong-listed scrap metal recycling group, seeks an experienced finance leader to manage day-to-day finance, treasury and accounting activities. The role covers month-end closing, reconciliations, budgeting, cash flow management and tax reporting, with oversight of PRC entities and statutory compliance.

The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with at least 7 years of experience, familiar with HKFRS and PRC GAAP, and fluent in English,

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with minimum 7 years of experience.
• Familiar with HKFRS, PRC GAAP and tax law.
• Strong communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day finance, treasury and accounting activities including month-end closing, reconciliations, journal preparation and supporting schedules.
• Prepare financial review and analysis, corporate budget and forecast, cash flow management and tax reporting.
• Oversee monthly management reporting and reconciliation of designated PRC entities.
• Ensure all statutory reporting, corporate governance, tax filing and compliance requirements are met.
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions on financing and banking matters.
• Coordinate all audit matters including preparation of audit schedules and providing supporting documents.
• Handle ad hoc assignments and special projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day finance, treasury and accounting activities including month-end closing, reconciliations, journal preparation and supporting schedules
• Prepare financial review and analysis, corporate budget and forecast, cash flow management and tax reporting
• Oversee monthly management reporting and reconciliation of designated PRC entities
• Ensure all statutory reporting, corporate governance, tax filing and compliance requirements are met
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions on financing and banking matters
• Coordinate all audit matters including preparation of audit schedules and providing supporting documents
• Handle ad hoc assignments and special projects

Requirements

• Degree holder or above
• Qualified accountant with minimum 7 years of experience, preferably gained from Big 4, second-tier CPA firms or HK listed companies or conglomerates
• Familiar with HKFRS, PRC GAAP and tax law
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach
• Proactive, mature, diplomatic and good interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Occasionally travel is required
• Immediately available is highly preferred
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Finance Manager.
