Job summary

Platinum Management Services Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee the Finance Department operations, ensure accounting integrity and regulatory compliance. You will manage FRR processes, trust reconciliations and statutory reporting, with a focus on accuracy and timely closing.

The role requires 5+ years in finance within the securities or financial services sector, with professional qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Accountancy/Finance/Economics, CPA/ACCA/CFA/PMP/CIMA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in financial industry; FRR experience for Type 1 is a MUST.
• Experience in audit firms with securities brokerage auditing exposure is an advantage.
• Exposure in IPO process and HK listing rules would be an advantage.
• Dynamic, attentive to detail and demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
• Proficient in both verbal and written Chinese and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Immediately available / short notice period is highly preferred.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of Assistant Finance Director.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Finance Department Operations, accounting and financial compliance.
• Review daily and monthly FRR, money segregation and trust reconciliation.
• Handle full set of accounts for SFC RAs Type 1, 4, 6, 9.
• Prepare management accounts, variance analysis and consolidated financial statements.
• Prepare annual budget, forecast and cash flow projection.
• Handle daily client money reconciliation and fund segregation.
• Handle daily and monthly FRR.
• Handle stress test for share margin financing activities.
• Review banking facilities for management update.
• Liaise with auditors to carry out annual audit work.
• Supervise the work of subordinates. Familiar the SAP system is advantage.
• Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by Managing Director, Directors.
