Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks an experienced, strategic Finance Director to lead finance operations across Hong Kong, Mainland China and South Korea. You will report to top management and oversee group consolidation, treasury, budgeting, and investment modeling with a high-performing team of eight.

Key responsibilities include regional consolidation and reporting, banking facilities negotiations, liquidity management, annual budgeting, audits, tax planning, and supporting executives on M&A

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA preferred.
• 10+ years in accounting/finance with 3–5 years in regional leadership.
• Track record in negotiating banking facilities and treasury management.
• Strong multi-entity consolidation, intercompany transactions, and modeling.
• Excellent English and Cantonese/Mandarin communication, leadership, and executive presentation skills.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and commercially minded Finance Director to lead our finance operations across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and South Korea. Reporting directly to top management, you will oversee group financial consolidation, treasury, banking facilities negotiation, annual regional budgeting, and strategic corporate investment modeling while leading a high-performing finance team of 8 professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Group Consolidation & Reporting: Drive group month-end and year-end closing, consolidated financial statements, and regional management reporting across HK, China, and Korea operating entities.

Treasury & Banking Facilities: Manage banking relationships, secure and structure credit facilities (including trade finance, invoice financing, and premium financing), and maintain liquidity management.

Budgeting & Investment Modeling: Lead the annual budgeting process across regional entities and build strategic financial models for new business ventures and capital investments.

Audit & Compliance: Coordinate annual group audit processes, manage tax planning, oversee transfer pricing, and ensure corporate governance across regional subsidiaries.

Executive Leadership: Partner with top management on ad-hoc strategic initiatives, M&A, and business developments, providing leadership to the AR, AP, and Reporting teams.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA / ACCA qualification preferred.

Minimum 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership position managing regional finance teams (HK, China, Korea experience strongly preferred).

Proven track record in banking facility negotiations (trade finance, invoice financing, loan facilities) and treasury management.

Strong expertise in multi-entity group financial consolidation, intercompany transactions, and financial modeling.

Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese/Mandarin.

Strong leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.
