Job summary

Adecco Portugal is hiring a Senior Finance & Accounting Officer for a global pharmaceutical company, responsible for financial reporting, controllership, general accounting operations, and procurement & supply chain support.

You will work with the Finance Shared Service Center to ensure process excellence, prepare statutory financial statements, liaise with auditors, support tax processes, and assist with journal entries and P2P activities.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting function.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or HKFRS.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Finance Shared Service Center for controllership and process excellence.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and liaise with auditors/tax consultants.
• Support tax audit and tax filing processes.
• Assist with journal entries, A/P recon, and Trial Balance review.
• Manage Purchase-to-Pay cycle and supplier/vendor coordination.
• Assist with fixed asset counts and asset records maintenance.
