Job description

Responsible for group financial reporting, consolidation, and external reporting processes. Ensures accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of consolidated financial statements and supports strong financial control across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements under IFRS / UK GAAP / US GAAP
• Support group close process, management reporting, and variance analysis
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions (e.g., revenue, leases, M&A, impairments)
• Assess and implement new accounting standards across the group
• Review accounting treatments for significant transactions and restructuring
• Support Board, Audit Committee, and investor reporting packs
• Maintain group accounting policies and reporting manuals
• Liaise with external auditors and manage year-end audit process
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements

Requirements

• Strong technical accounting and consolidation experience
• Solid knowledge of IFRS (or equivalent GAAP)
• Experience in audit coordination and financial reporting cycles
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
