Job summary

Binance is seeking a Finance Automation professional to lead automation designs across core Finance workflows, focusing on accounting processes and bank reconciliations. You will translate finance requirements into practical system solutions and collaborate with Engineering on scalable automation frameworks.

As part of a cross-functional team, you will drive intelligent automation, data pipelines, and ERP integrations, while ensuring strong controls and governance for scalable finance systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in roles that combine finance domain knowledge with technical implementation.
• Solid understanding of core accounting and finance processes, especially double-entry bookkeeping, accruals, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of automation, data architecture, and system improvements across core Finance workflows, with a focus on accounting processes such as double-entry bookkeeping, accruals, and reconciliation with banks and third-party platforms.
• Own the translation of Finance requirements into scalable technical solutions, acting as the key interface between Finance and Engineering teams, translating finance requirements into practical system and automation solutions.
• Architect and deliver finance automation frameworks, including workflow orchestration, rules-based accounting logic, exception handling, and integrations with ERP systems.
• Drive the adoption of agentic finance capabilities by identifying opportunities to embed intelligent automation, decision support, and AI-assisted workflow execution into Finance operations.
• Build or oversee development, scripting, data pipelines, and workflow automation solutions independently, while partnering with engineering or data teams on more complex development work.
• Identify process bottlenecks, control gaps, and manual dependencies, and lead the design of tooling or system enhancements to reduce operational risk and improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Ensure accounting logic, financial controls, and reporting requirements are appropriately embedded into system design, automation workflows, and downstream data models.Establish standards for finance data models, automation governance, documentation, and change management to support sustainable scaling of Finance systems.
• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Engineering, Data, and Compliance teams to deliver strategic finance transformation initiatives.
