Job summary

Atelier Wen in Hong Kong is seeking a Finance & Admin Manager to own and build our finance and administrative function from the ground up. You will work with the Head of Operations and founders on budgeting, planning and strategic decisions.

This hands-on role requires setting up systems, reporting, controls, and scalable processes while coordinating with external providers. You'll drive improvements using automation and AI to support a fast-growing luxury watch brand.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (HKICPA, ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent)
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience owning a company's finance function
• Strong hands-on accounting fundamentals: month-end close, reconciliations, AP/AR and management accounts
• Comfortable with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow modelling and management reporting
• Proficiency with Xero and Excel/Google Sheets

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, invoicing and monthly/quarterly close (AP/AR end-to-end)
• Establish accurate inventory, cost accounting across components, production batches and finished watches
• Produce management accounts, budgets, cash-flow forecasts and analysis by product and channel
• Design and implement systems, processes and controls behind accounting and admin functions
• Manage payroll/MPF and coordinate tax, filings, audits with external providers
• Coordinate government processes, IP/trademark administration, insurance and compliance workflows
• Identify opportunities to automate with AI and improve finance/admin operations
