Qualifikationen

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• Qualified Accountant is required.
• 8+ years of experience in month-end close and compliance.
• Hospitality or Food & Beverage experience is advantageous.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; strong communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead day-to-day finance and accounting operations across Asia.
• Own full month-end and year-end close with group timelines.
• Prepare journals, accruals, and provisions; ensure correct classification.
• Review general ledger and bookkeeping for accuracy and audit readiness.
• Ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external advisors on tax compliance and reporting.

Assistant Finance Manager - Renowned Lifestyle Brand

An exclusive opportunity to seek for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to oversee core finance and accounting activities across Hong Kong & Macau. The role focuses on full set of accounts, financial reporting and governance, compliance and cross-functional collaboration to support strategic decision-making. This position will also contribute to ongoing process enhancements, system initiatives, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including financial closing and statutory-related activities across Asia.
• Own and manage the full month‑end and year‑end closing process, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial close in line with group timelines.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and provisions, ensuring appropriate classification and compliance with accounting standards and group policies.
• Review and validate general ledger and bookkeeping records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness prior to submission to group or regional finance teams
  
• Ensure ongoing compliance with local statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements, including timely filings and adherence to group accounting policies.
  
• Oversee tax compliance activities, coordinating with external advisors to ensure accurate submissions and regulatory alignment.
• Maintain strong internal controls, proactively identifying risks, challenging non‑compliant practices, and ensuring adherence to expense and policy guidelines.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant discipline. Qualified Accountant is required.
• At least 8 years proven experience managing month‑end close, statutory audits, and compliance within a structured finance environment. Prior auditing experience is highily advantageous.
• Candidates with relevant Accounting experience in hospitality, Food & Beverage or lounge management industries is highly advantageous
• Solid understanding of local tax and statutory requirements, with experience liaising with auditors and external advisors.
• Proficient in common office tools and finance systems.
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese.
