Qualifications

Registered as a social worker (category 1) under the Social Workers Registration Ordinance.
Bachelor's degree majoring in social work from an HK university (or equivalent).
Pass the Aptitude Test in CRE.
Level 2 language proficiency in Use of Chinese and Use of English; fluent Cantonese and English.

Responsibilities

Provide social welfare services in various departmental units and administer or assist in running a welfare office.
Assist in planning and development as well as coordination and monitoring of district services.
Assist in processing NGO applications, monitor their performance, and provide support.
Handle matters related to enforcement of statutory duties and contract management of welfare services.
Assist in planning, implementation and administration of staff training programmes.
Assist in IT projects within the department and the welfare sector.
