Job summary

Getinge in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced service technician to maintain and repair IC&LS equipment (washer and sterilizer) and to liaise with service administration, sales and management to ensure top-tier service delivery to hospitals and medical centres.

The role requires hands-on installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and clear communication in Chinese and English. Occasional overseas training travel may be required to support QA and manufacturer-led root-cause analyses.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate holder in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Min. 2 years of technical experience in OT or CSSD equipment is an advantage.
• Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently; willing to learn.
• Proficient in Chinese and English communication.
• Willing to travel overseas for training.
• Experience in building service or related licenses (if applicable) will be considered.

• Install, inspect, perform corrective and preventive maintenance of Medtech Equipment (Infection Control) in hospitals/medical centres.
• Provide technical support and solutions to end-users.
• Report and file product technical issues according to QA guidelines; coordinate root-cause analysis with manufacturers.
• May assist in pre- and post-installation activities, operation training and demonstrations to customers.

Job Overview

This position is to efficiently maintain and repair the IC&LS product (washer and sterilizer). To liaise with the service administration team, sales and management teams to provide excellent service delivery to our customers.

Responsibilities

• To perform installation, inspection, corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance of Medtech Equipment (Infection Control) in hospital and medical centre;
• To provide technical support and solution to end-users;
• To report and file product technical issue according to manufacturer QA guidelines, and communication with manufacturer for the root cause analysis;
• May need to assist in pre & post-installation activities, operation training and demonstration to customer

Job requirements

• Higher Diploma, Diploma or Higher Certificate holder or above in Electrical / Mechanical / Engineering or related disciplines;
• Min. 2 years of technical experience in OT or CSSD equipment will be a strong advantage;
• Self-motivated, responsible, able to work independently and willing to learn;
• Able to communicate in Chinese and English;
• Able to travel overseas for training;

Candidates who possess any of the following requirements, even with lower academic qualifications, will also be considered

• Working experience in building service/ boiler industry
• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker License Grade A
• Holder of Pressure Vessel Operator License class III and/or Class VI
