Job summary

Getinge Group Hong Kong Limited is seeking a field service engineer to efficiently maintain and repair IC&LS products such as washers and sterilizers in hospital settings. You will liaise with service administration, sales and management to ensure top-quality service delivery to customers.

Responsibilities include installation, preventive maintenance, and technical support. Candidates should have an engineering background, medical equipment experience, and be willing to travel internationally

Qualifications

• Requires Higher Diploma or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of technical experience in OT or CSSD equipment is advantageous.
• Must be able to communicate in Chinese and English.
• Willing to travel overseas for training.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection, corrective and preventive maintenance of Medtech Equipment (Infection Control) in hospitals and medical centers.
• Provide technical support and solutions to end-users.
• Report and file product technical issues per QA guidelines; communicate with manufacturers for root cause analysis.
• Assist in pre- and post-installation activities, training and demonstrations for customers.

Job Overview

This position is to efficiently maintain and repair the IC&LS product (washer and sterilizer). To liaise with the service administration team, sales and management teams to provide excellent service delivery to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• To perform installation, inspection, corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance of Medtech Equipment (Infection Control) in hospital and medical centre;
• To provide technical support and solution to end-users;
• To report and file product technical issue according to manufacturer QA guidelines, and communication with manufacturer for the root cause analysis;
• May need to assist in pre & post-installation activities, operation training and demonstration to customer

Job requirements:

• Higher Diploma, Diploma or Higher Certificate holder or above in Electrical / Mechanical / Engineering or related disciplines;
• Min. 2 years of technical experience in OT or CSSD equipment will be a strong advantage;
• Self-motivated, responsible, able to work independently and willing to learn;
• Able to communicate in Chinese and English;
• Able to travel overseas for training;

Candidates who possess any of the following requirements, even with lower academic qualifications, will also be considered:

• Working experience in building service/ boiler industry
• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker License Grade A
• Holder of Pressure Vessel Operator License class III and/or Class VI
