Job summary

The GMP Group is seeking a facilities technician in Hong Kong to operate and maintain critical building management and cleanroom systems. You will monitor electrical, HVAC and cleanroom equipment, respond to abnormal conditions, and ensure rapid restoration of services to minimise production downtime.

Responsibilities include completing shift routines, accurate handover, and acting as a member of the Emergency Response Team.

Qualifications

• ITE/ Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 relevant experience in related field with working knowledge in cleanroom environment.
• Able to work office shift / 12 hours rotating shift.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic understanding on semiconductor process/equipment is preferred.

Job description

JOB SCOPE:

• Operate and maintain facilities systems such as BMS, Electrical Systems, HVAC, Cleanroom System (CDA, PV, PCW, FFU, Dry Coil and RCU).

• Monitor facilities equipment and systems through FMCS or equivalent control systems.

• Respond promptly to out-of-specification or abnormal condition affecting production or the site in general.

• Carry out repair and troubleshooting of systems in order to restore systems to their operating conditions in the shortest possible time.

• Restore facilities services quickly to minimize interruptions to production or the site.

• Complete shift routines and activities.

• Accurately pass down information to the next shift.

• Serve as a member of the ERT (Emergency Response Team).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• ITE/ Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering

• At least 2 relevant experience in related field with working knowledge in cleanroom environment

• Able to work office shift / 12 hours rotating shift

• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic understanding on semiconductor process/ equipment is preferred

Basic Salary: S$2300/month + Allowances (Based on exp)
