Job summary

The GMP Group is seeking an on-site facilities technician in Hong Kong to operate and maintain complex facility systems including BMS, HVAC, and cleanroom equipment. The role requires quick response to faults, detailed handovers, and participation in emergency response activities.

Candidates should have 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a cleanroom, and be comfortable with 12-hour rotating shifts and Microsoft Office. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a related field, preferably with experience in a cleanroom environment.
• Willing to work office hours or 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor processes and equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain facility systems, including BMS, electrical systems, HVAC, and cleanroom systems such as CDA, PV, PCW, FFU, Dry Coil, and RCU.
• Monitor facility equipment and systems through FMCS or equivalent control systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment abnormalities, out-of-specification conditions, and facility issues that may affect production or site operations.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance to restore systems to normal operating conditions as quickly as possible.
• Minimize production downtime by ensuring timely restoration of facility services.
• Carry out all assigned shift routines, inspections, and operational activities.
• Provide accurate and detailed shift handover and pass-down information to the incoming team.
• Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and support emergency response activities.
