Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club seeks a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join The Property Department. You will perform maintenance and repair across carpentry, masonry, painting, plumbing and drainage, metalwork, and related facilities, ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires at least five years of hands-on experience in building maintenance, relevant certifications, and ability to read English/Chinese.

Qualifications

• Five years of hands-on experience in carpentry, masonry, painting, plumbing and drainage, metalwork, or building maintenance.
• Possession of safety and trade certificates is advantageous.
• Proficiency in basic Chinese and English reading/writing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Club building facilities, including carpentry, metalwork, masonry, painting, plumbing and drainage.
• Supervise contractors, monitor service quality and progress, ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Carry out duties assigned by supervisors and other property-related tasks.
• Wear uniform and work rotating shifts on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays; overtime during events or emergencies.
