Job summary

Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong is seeking a capable General Technician to maintain and repair hotel facilities, equipment and systems ensuring smooth daily operations. You will perform preventive maintenance on water supply, electrical systems, boilers and related mechanical systems across guest rooms, restaurants and kitchens.

The role requires at least 2 years of hotel experience, a valid Electrical Workers licence (Grade A or R) is a plus, willingness to work in shifts, and fluent Cantonese.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hotel maintenance experience.
• Valid Electrical Workers license (Grade A or R) is a plus.
• Boiler maintenance experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Good command of Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on water supply and electrical systems for guest rooms, restaurants, kitchens, and other departments.
• Conduct regular checks and maintenance on hot water pumps, cold water pumps, and seawater pumps.
• Assist in the operation, maintenance, and repair of boilers, steam drainage, and related mechanical systems.
• Handle emergency repairs of plumbing and drainage systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors.
