Job summary

EZSVS (Hongkong) Co., Limited is seeking a Facilities Engineer to assist in managing on-site data center operations and infrastructure. You will work directly with on-site execution teams to ensure system stability and transparent operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 5 years of data center O&M experience, a relevant higher diploma, and bilingual communication skills across Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in data center infrastructure operations and maintenance (O&M).

• Assist in data center infrastructure audits and coordinate relevant workflows.
• Coordinate with local telecom operators to provide high-quality support.

Job description

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9AM -6PM

Assist client infrastructure personnel in managing on-site data center operations (interfacing directly with the on-site execution team), with a sharp focus on operational transparency and ensuring system stability.

Conduct routine inspections of critical data center infrastructure equipment, manage operational risks, and report findings to client as required.

Follow up on on-site data center failures, report incidents to the designated client contact person according to established procedures, and drive the on-site team to complete troubleshooting, repairs, and post-mortem reviews.

Follow up on-site during data center cutover operations, participate in the review of cutover schemes, and focus strictly on ensuring the on-site team executes tasks in alignment with the agreed plan.

Support client's on-site physical security efforts; assist in tracking personnel entry, monitoring the movement of critical assets, handling daily security monitoring, and managing emergency response and resolution loops.

Input and process platform work orders to ensure that on-site tasks are properly digitized, tracked, and standardized.

Support on-site data center infrastructure audits, coordinate relevant workflows, and urge the on-site team to achieve a closed-loop resolution for all identified issues.

Communicate and coordinate with local telecom operators on-site to high-quality support and fulfill client's specific requirements.

Job Requirement:

At least 5 years of experience in data center infrastructure operations and maintenance (O&M).

Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), Automation, or related fields are preferred.

Fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin, English

Familiar with the full lifecycle management model of data centers, from construction to operations. Familiar with data center O&M management workflows; possesses a strong risk awareness with the ability to identify on-site operational issues, provide timely feedback, and drive optimization.

Strong risk identification skills with the ability to effectively perceive abnormal operational scenarios.

High resilience and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Strong sense of responsibility and highly enthusiastic about the work.

Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
