Job summary

Acts Consulting Co. 毅知顧問公司 is seeking an experienced Managing Director to establish and lead a fund and wealth management business in Central, Hong Kong.

The role requires deep experience in fund setup, asset management, and high-level deal execution, with strong leadership and cross-border communications. The ideal candidate has a track record in private equity or fund raising, and fluent English, Putonghua and Cantonese, with extensive client networks.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, banking, accounting, economics, business or related studies. MBA/CFA/CPA/LLB are a plus.
• Has more than 10 years fund setup and management experience, with the last 5+ years at Director level.
• SFC RO 4 and 9 is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in private equity, equity fund or bond fund raising and track records in financing, takeovers and mergers.

Responsibilities

• In charge of fund and wealth management business, setting strategic in-depth investment analysis and overseeing execution of takeovers and mergers.
• Organise information gathering, analysis, and expansion of the investment project base; source and select projects.
• Handle deal design, origination, industry research, project assessment, deal execution and investment management.
• Set up funds and build return records for clients’ investments.
• Build and expand the client base and manage the sales team to provide wealth management services and meet sales targets.
• Formulate business direction and strategy in response to changing market conditions.
