Job summary

Amethyst Partners in Hong Kong seeks a Director, Business Development to lead growth for our fund services practice. You will plan and execute strategies, identify leads, and manage end-to-end sales processes for clients in private equity, hedge funds and real estate funds.

You will leverage a strong network in the alternative fund industry, lead a team, and collaborate with internal specialists to deliver solutions. Fluent English and Mandarin are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in sales or BD with a network in alternative funds.
• Strong track record in business development.
• Knowledge of fund administration or corporate services is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute business development strategies and identify new business leads.
• Market and promote fund administration/fund accounting services to potential clients in the fund industry.
• Build new business relationships with prospective clients.
• Maintain good partnerships with existing clients and ensure good quality of service to them.
• Identify business opportunity for the firm, enhance the overall brand awareness.
• Manage the end-to-end sales process, collaborate with other departments to provide effective service and solutions to clients.
• Attend industry events to establish market networks.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and developments.

Their clients are alternative funds including private equity funds, hedge funds, real estate funds etc.As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Director, Business Development and the role is based in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute business development strategies and identify new business leads

• Fluent in English and Mandarin languages
