Job summary

BAH Partners in Hong Kong seeks an Executive Director / Managing Director to lead Global Markets Execution Technology. This senior technology leadership role shapes architecture and strategy across electronic trading platforms, OMS, connectivity and market data, with global and APAC responsibilities.

You will engage senior stakeholders, drive major programmes, and set technical direction that aligns to business outcomes, ensuring low latency, scale, and reliability across critical trading

Qualifications

• Senior ED/MD-level experience within Global Markets/electronic trading tech.
• Extensive architecture experience across large-scale trading platforms.
• Strong understanding of agency/electronic trading tech.
• Deep technical knowledge of Java-based trading architectures.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technology and architectural leadership across Global Markets execution tech for APAC and global coordination.
• Define tech strategy and architecture across electronic trading, order management, connectivity, market data and trading platforms.
• Partner with senior trading and business leadership to translate priorities into tech strategy and delivery.
• Assess and modernise/replace/retire complex technology estates as needed.
• Lead architecture across greenfield and brownfield programmes; drive performance and reliability improvements.
• Influence investment decisions and engineering standards at senior levels.
