Job summary

Pinpoint Asia is working with a prominent client in Hong Kong to appoint an Executive Director who will shape the technology strategy for in-house platforms and lead modernization initiatives. You will drive migration from legacy mainframes to modular microservices and cloud architectures, oversee the SDLC, and coordinate cross-functional teams with external vendors.

Qualifications

15+ years of technology leadership experience in capital markets or banking.
Strong background in post-trade processing, custody, asset servicing, valuations, collateral management, or regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of transaction processing, messaging protocols, memory management, high availability and storage architecture.

Responsibilities

Lead migration from legacy mainframes to modular microservices and cloud architectures.
Oversee full SDLC, establish coding standards, CI/CD, and QA improvements.
Direct in-house development teams and manage vendor relationships for seamless integration.
Maintain Zero Trust security, high availability, and regulatory compliance across platforms.
Evaluate and integrate AI, DLT, and open-source tools into live environments.
