Job summary

Defond Electrical Industries Limited in Hong Kong seeks a (Senior) Business Development Manager to drive EU penetration in white goods and premium brands. You will own overseas business development, manage key accounts, and identify new opportunities to grow market share.

The role requires a strong network in the home appliance sector, fluency in Chinese and English, and the ability to travel for client meetings, exhibitions, and project reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in International Trade, Marketing, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of overseas business development, sales, or account management experience.
• Strong network and understanding in home appliance sector, especially in white goods.
• Ability to work well both independently with minimal supervision and as a team-player.
• Fluency in Chinese and English is mandatory.
• Demonstrated communications and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to conduct overseas business trips for client meetings, project reviews, and exhibitions based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Own business development in EU market, prioritizing white goods sector and with premium brands
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing key accounts, to drive penetrations into segments and/or commodities with white-space opportunities
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with key multifunctional stakeholders and key accounts that we want to penetrate further into
• Facilitate and/or drive local tech days, in partnership with headquarter project teams, to incent customers and prospects to give development opportunities in the integrated control solution space
• Collaborate with headquarter project teams and other relevant functions to align strategies and turn leads into successful awards and eventual launches
• Conduct market research to understand trending customer and market needs and competitive landscape
• Represent the company in industry events, trade shows, and key client meetings to build IP
