Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd partners with a growing asset management platform in Hong Kong to recruit an ETF Portfolio Manager. The role offers hands‑on exposure across ETF portfolio management, trading, operations, product development, and market research.

The candidate will support the management and daily operations of ETF portfolios, conduct in‑depth analysis, and contribute to process automation using Excel VBA and Python. Mandarin is preferred, CFA/FRM desirable.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Approximately 3–5 years of relevant ETF-related experience (portfolio management, operations, or analytics).
Solid understanding of multiple asset classes including equities, fixed income, and commodities.
Familiarity with ETF creation/redemption mechanisms and index methodologies.

Responsibilities

Support ETF portfolios across multiple asset classes and assist in daily operations.
Perform pre‑trade and post‑trade analysis, liquidity assessments, and cost analyses.
Monitor market developments across global equities, fixed income, and commodities.
Collaborate with APs, market makers, brokers, and custodians on ETF liquidity and trading.
Contribute to development of new ETF products and investment strategies.
Participate in investment committee discussions and project work.
Assist with workflow automation using Excel VBA, Python, and other analytical tools.
