Job summary
The Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited (HKMC) invites high-calibre individuals to join its IFS Division to support sustainable finance initiatives and ESG disclosures. You will maintain emissions inventory, evaluate climate risks, consolidate ESG data, and perform due diligence across loan origination to portfolio management.
The role requires a degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Finance, about 10 years of relevant experience in financial institutions or advisory firms, plus
Qualifications
- Degree holder in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Finance.
- Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in financial institutions or advisory firms.
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Support in maintaining the financed emissions inventory.
- Assist in evaluating and quantifying climate risks (physical and transition).
- Consolidate data and information for ESG disclosure purposes.
- Carry out technical, environmental and social due diligence on underlying projects from loan origination through portfolio management phases.
- Undertake occasional overseas travel for site visits to review technical, environmental and social aspects of projects as necessary.
- Perform other ad hoc assignments related to sustainable finance, as well as technical and ESG matters as required.
