Job summary

HKMC Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation invites a qualified ESG Officer to join the Infrastructure Financing and Securitisation division. You will support in maintaining the financed emissions inventory, assist in evaluating climate risks, and consolidate data for ESG disclosures.

You will conduct technical, environmental and social due diligence on projects from loan origination through portfolio management, undertake overseas site visits when necessary, and handle ad hoc ESG assignments.

Qualifications

• Degree holder preferably in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Finance, with a demonstrated interest in ESG.
• Approximate 10 years or more of relevant experience in renowned financial institutions or advisory firms, with involvement in infrastructure engineering, project finance, ESG or sustainable finance;
• Strong analytical skills, and excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
